Orange-Romaine Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of hot sauce
6 c. torn romaine lettuce
5 c. torn iceberg lettuce
1 1/2 c. orange sections
1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted
2 green onions, sliced
1/4 c. cooked, crumbled bacon
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a jar.
Cover tightly and shake vigorously until well blended; set aside.
Combine next 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Pour dressing over lettuce mixture immediately before serving; toss gently.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
Yields 4 to 6 servings.
