Inside-Out Ravioli Casserole - cooking recipe

1 lb. ground meat
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (7 oz.) pkg. shell or elbow macaroni, cooked
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. oil
1 (1 lb.) can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
dash of pepper
4 oz. shredded American cheese
2 well beaten eggs
Preparation

Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon oil. Cook spinach according to package directions; drain, reserving liquid.
Add water to liquid to make 1 cup.
Stir spinach liquid, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper into meat mixture.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Combine spinach with macaroni, cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and oil.
Spread in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Top with meat sauce.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
