Microwave Cranapple Raisin Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. golden raisins
    2/3 c. apple juice
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    12 oz. pkg. (3 oz.) fresh or frozen cranberries
    1 medium apple, chopped
    1/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In 2-quart microwave safe bowl, combine sugar, raisins, apple juice and vinegar.
    Cover with microwave-safe plastic wrap. Microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture boils.
    Stir on orange peel, ginger, cranberries and apple. Cover; microwave on High for 6 to 8 minutes or until cranberries pop, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
    Continue to microwave on High for 1 minute or until slightly thickened.
    Stir in walnuts.
    Cover; store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
    Yields 4 cups.
