Lunch In A Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 carrots
    2 c. water
    4 medium onions
    3 or 4 large potatoes
    paprika for color
Preparation
    Cook bacon in deep skillet or Dutch oven.
    Remove bacon from drippings.
    Cut
    steak
    in
    2
    pieces.
    Brown
    in
    bacon drippings.
    (Do
    not
    dredge in flour.) Add salt and pepper to taste and
    paprika.
    Add
    water.
    Cover and cook about 2 hours in a 350\u00b0
    oven.
    Add water if needed.
    Add the peeled vegetables about 1 hour after placing in the oven.
