Quick Dessert Royale - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake mix
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 can pie filling
Preparation
    Mix or cut butter into the cake mix. Put this mixture in 9-inch pan, reserving a little for topping. Make a \"well\" in middle of mixture. Put pie filling in middle of well; sprinkle reserved mixture (or crust) on top of filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until \"crust\" starts to turn golden. Serve hot. May top with ice cream or Cool Whip
