Sourdough Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. Sourdough Starter
    1/4 c. melted shortening
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place flour in a large bowl.
    Make a hole in the middle and add sourdough
    starter to the hole.
    Add melted shortening and dry ingredients.
    Mix
    from the middle, stirring in enough flour to make a
    soft
    dough.
    Turn out onto a lightly floured board. Knead until
    the
    consistency of bread dough.
    Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.\tCut
    into
    biscuits
    and place in greased 12-inch Dutch oven,
    making
    sure
    to
    grease
    sides,
    top and bottom of biscuits.
    Let
    rise
    for 1 hour in cold Dutch oven. Bake for 20 minutes on medium heat (350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0).
