Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

5 to 7 apples or 2 (No. 2) cans sliced pie apples, drained
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Pare apples; cut into eighths.
Arrange in unbaked pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar with the flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
