Skier'S Stew From Pico, Vt - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stew beef, cut up into bite size pieces
    2 jars or cans whole onions
    1 large can whole white potatoes
    2 lb. cut up carrots
    2 cans tomato soup
    1 can water
    salt to taste
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    Cook, covered, at 325\u00b0 for at least 3 hours.
    If cooking for 5 hours, lower temperature slightly.
    If using a crock-pot, cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high setting for 5 to 6 hours.
