Mildred'S Sausage And Bean Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. medium hot sausage
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
2 c. tomato juice
1 large onion, chopped
1 rib celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. can whole kernel corn
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Brown sausage in heavy pan; drain off grease.
Combine all ingredients and seasoning but corn and sugar.
Simmer approximately 1 hour.
Add corn and sugar last 5 minutes just to heat.
