Cranberry Surprise Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. fresh cranberries
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. solid vegetable shortening, melted
1 c. flour
Preparation

In a 10-inch pie plate, spread cranberries. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and pecans; set aside.
In a bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer.
Gradually add remaining cup of sugar.
Beat well. Add butter, shortening and flour alternately to egg mixture.
Mix well.
Pour egg mixture over cranberries.
Bake about 60 minutes or until golden brown.
