Carrot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked, mashed carrots
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 tsp. ginger
    1 to 1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 to 1 tsp. cloves
    3 slightly beaten eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk (3/4 c.)
Preparation
    Thoroughly combine carrots, sugar, salt and spices.
    Add eggs, milk and evaporated milk and blend.
    Pour into unbaked pie shells. Bake in very hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then in 325\u00b0 oven about 45 minutes or until mixture does not adhere to knife.
    Cool and top with whipped cream to serve.
