Mystery Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 Ritz crackers, rolled fine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites, with a dash of salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Whip the egg whites; add sugar and baking powder.
    Fold in cracker crumbs and pecans.
    Butter a 9-inch pan.
    Put mixture in pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes or a little less.
    Cover pie with whipped cream; sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Cut in wedges.
