Liver Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    1 onion, diced
    2 lb. chicken livers
    salt and pepper
    5 hard-boiled eggs, chopped fine
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    crackers
Preparation
    Saute butter and diced onion.
    Combine with liver and seasonings; steam 1/2 hour.
    Add eggs and mayonnaise.
    Shape into ball.
    Serve with crackers.
