Cheese Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced cooked potatoes (2 1/2 lb.)
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Layer half the potatoes and
    half
    the cheese in shallow buttered 2 quart casserole.
    Repeat
    layers.
    In a bowl lightly beat eggs; stir in milk,
    salt
    and
    nutmeg.
    Pour
    egg mixture over potatoes and cheese.
    Bake
    in
    preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes or until
    knife inserted near center comes out clean.
    Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 8.
