Pink Lozenger Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder (rounded)
    1 c. milk
    4 egg whites, beaten
    24 pink lozengers
Preparation
    Dissolve lozengers in the 1 cup of milk overnight.
    Mix shortening and sugar until creamy.
    Add flour, baking powder and milk.
    Fold in beaten egg whites last.
    Pour into greased 2 or 3 cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
