Beef With Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean round steak
    1/4 c. flour, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1 c. beef broth
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms with liquid
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen garden peas
    1/2 c. sour cream
    3 to 4 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Remove bone and fat from steak; cut into thin, narrow strips. Dredge in flour.
    Brown meat quickly in hot skillet on all sides. Add onions, broth, thyme and liquid from mushrooms.
    Cover; simmer for about 45 minutes, or until meat is tender.
    Add mushrooms and peas.
    Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream; heat but do not boil.
    Serve over rice.
    Garnish with pimiento, if desired.
    Serves 6.
