Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. oil
1 c. rolled oats (regular)
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
Add egg; mix well.
Add oil; mix well.
Add oats, cornflakes and nuts, stirring well.
Add flour, soda, salt and vanilla; mix well.
Form into walnut size balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with a fork dipped in water.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Allow to cool on cookie sheets before removing.
