Hot Shrimp Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    small chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) cans cooked shrimp
    1/2 c. grated American cheese
    1/4 c. cocktail sauce
Preparation
    Melt butter or oleo in top of double boiler.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Saute over direct heat.
    Add cooked shrimp, grated American cheese and cocktail sauce.
    Cook over hot water until cheese melts, stirring often.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 1 3/4 cups.
