Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 large tomatoes
    12 onions,
    3 pods red pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. ground mustard
    salt
    1 Tbsp. cloves
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 pt. (2 c.) brown sugar
    1 pt. (2 c.) vinegar
Preparation
    Scald, peel and slice the tomatoes.
    Peel and slice real fine the onions.
    Sprinkle the tomatoes and onions with salt.
    Bring tomatoes, onions and peppers to a boil in the vinegar.
    Add brown sugar and cook until thick then add the spices.
    Seal in sterilized jars.
