Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1/3 c. (total) raisins, currants, chopped apricots or any other dried fruit
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt.
    Cut shortening into flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal.
    Add raisins or pieces of dried fruit.
    Mix milk and cider vinegar and gradually add dry ingredients, mixing lightly, until dough masses together to form a ball.
    Dough will be soft.
