Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 medium onion
1 medium green pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 can kidney beans, drained (save juice)
Preparation

Heat oil and add onion, pepper, beef and garlic.
Add tomato sauce, cumin, cayenne pepper, chili powder, oregano and salt. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
(If mixture is too thick, add water.)
Stir in the beans and cover and simmer for 5 minutes, until the beans are heated.
Add half of the juice from the beans while cooking.
