Tomato Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. tomatoes
    2 c. sugar
    juice from 1/2 lemon
Preparation
    Peel and cut tomatoes in small pieces.
    Cook in sugar on high, stirring often.
    When it begins sticking to the bottom of pot, stir in juice from 1/2 of a lemon and cook for a few more minutes. Put in jar and seal.
    Makes 1 pint.
