Oatmeal Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. + 2 Tbsp. dark raisins
    1/4 c. uncooked, quick cooking oats
    2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine flour, oats, sugar, orange peel, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
    Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add buttermilk and raisins and stir to form thick lumpy batter.
    Drop by heaping tablespoonful on nonstick cookie sheet.
    Bake until biscuits are golden brown, 17 to 20 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Makes 12 biscuits.
