Banana Slush Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    5 bananas
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. hot water
    4 (67.2 oz.) bottles ginger ale
Preparation
    In a blender, dissolve 4 cups sugar in 6 cups hot water (add food coloring, if desired).
    Add juices directly from the cans; add cut up bananas and pineapple.
    Freeze.
    To serve, put the frozen mixture into a punch bowl.
    Pour ginger ale over it and mix slowly so mixture becomes slushy.
    Yield:
    60 servings.
