Aunt Vera'S Carrot Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2 medium onions
    1/4 tsp. garlic
    3 medium potatoes
    4 medium carrots
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    celery
    parsley
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper to taste
    5 c. chicken stock or 1 tsp. with 1 c. water
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Chop onion, celery and garlic in food processor and add to saucepan.
    Chop potatoes and carrots in food processor.
    Combine all ingredients in slow cooker on high for 4 hours or low all day or in pot on back burner and simmer all day.
    Yield: 4 servings.
