Hot Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. sharp natural Cheddar cheese, grated
4 1/2 Tbsp. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 egg whites
1/2 c. packaged dry bread crumbs
salad oil or shortening
Preparation

Combine cheese, flour, salt and pepper; mix thoroughly.
In a large bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form when beater is raised slowly.
Gently fold in cheese mixture just until well combined with egg whites.
Shape into balls, using level tablespoon for each.
Roll in bread crumbs on waxed paper.
