Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. cocoa
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream together shortening, cocoa and granulated sugar.
Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed.
Add vanilla.
Blend flour, baking powder and salt into shortening mixture.
Refrigerate dough for 3 hours.
