Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream or tartar
    1/2 c. margarine
    pinch of salt
    3 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan except popcorn over medium heat; cook until it coats a spoon.
    Pour over popped corn. You can add peanuts to mixture before pouring over corn.
    Bake on cookie sheets for 1 hour at 200\u00b0 for extra crispness.
