Waldorf Astoria Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cook the milk and flour together until thick.
Cool thoroughly (important).
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla together until light and fluffy like whipped cream.
Add to cooled, cooked mixture and beat until sugar crystals disappear.
