Chocolate Snappers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 egg
2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
Preparation

In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients.
In a large bowl, combine shortening, sugars and egg.
Beat until creamy.
Mix in corn syrup and melted chocolate.
Beat in flour mixture.
Shape into balls; roll in sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Allow to cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
