Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium yellow crookneck squash, sliced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 medium onion
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion.
    Remove from heat and add salt, pepper and butter.
    Add cracker crumbs, half grated cheese, milk and egg. Blend well.
    Pour into casserole and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    It is good made with Cheddar cheese, but coon cheese is delicious.
