Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 -24 oz. pkg. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Mix together 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Put in baking dish.
    For topping, mix 1/4 cup butter and corn flakes; sprinkle over top.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
