Onions With Sage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. tiny onions
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
2/3 c. chicken stock
sea salt
black pepper
1/2 tsp. chopped sage
2 Tbsp. heavy cream
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

Peel the onions and leave them whole.
Heat the butter in a saucepan and brown the onions gently, stirring often.
Blend in flour and cook for 1 minute, then add heated chicken stock and stir until smooth.
Add salt and pepper to taste, then the chopped sage.
Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the onions are soft all the way through, stir in the cream and parsley and serve.
