Chantilly Cream Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cream
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, broken
Preparation
    Combine milk, cream, sugar, salt and syrup in sauce pan. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until 238 degrees on a candy thermometer or soft ball stage.
    When cool add vanilla and beat until creamy.
    Add nuts and pour in shallow greased 11 x 7 pan.
    When cool cut in squares and wrap.
