Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) can coconut
    14 oz. vanilla wafers
    1 c. margarine, softened
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put pecans
    and coconut together in bowl.
    Crush vanilla wafers in a blender and add to coconut and pecans;
    mix well.
    Cream the margarine
    and
    sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, to the margarine and sugar, beating well. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and
    add 1/2 cup milk.
    Pour the cake batter into a
    well-greased
    tube
    pan. Bake
    for
    1 hour. Remove from pan when cool.
    Slice
    and
    top with Cool Whip or ice cream (vanilla).
