Marshmallow Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. popcorn (unpopped)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. marshmallows
Preparation
    Pop corn; sprinkle with salt.
    Melt butter in pan.
    Cut marshmallows in quarters or use mini-marshmallows.
    Alternate layers of popcorn and marshmallows in pan.
    Cover; heat slowly, until marshmallows are partially melted.
    Mix well; form into 2-inch balls.
    Makes about 9.
