Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. dry navy beans (3 1/2 c.)
    1 lb. smoked ham or ham hocks or 1/2 lb. salt pork
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Soften beans; soak in water overnight.
    Simmer 1 hour.
    Put beans in crock-pot and add all remaining ingredients along with the water.
    Cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 4 to 5 hours.
