Mushroom Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 slices bread, buttered and cut in squares
    3 to 4 large cans mushrooms, drained or use pieces and stems, drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. milk
    4 eggs
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Place half the buttered bread squares on the bottom of the dish.
    Place 1/2 the mushrooms on the bread.
    Combine chopped celery, onion and green peppers with mayonnaise.
    Spread half of this mixture over mushrooms.
    Repeat layers.
