Frosted Oatmeal Squares(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. quick cooking oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. oleo
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
Preparation
    Mix oats, sugar, oleo and syrup thoroughly.
    Divide mixture between two 2-quart glass baking dishes (8 x 8-inch).
    Press evenly into dishes and pack each.
    Place in microwave on High for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes, until bubbly over entire top.
    Cool.
    Melt chips and peanut butter in a 1-quart bowl for 1 1/2 minutes in microwave.
    Stir halfway through cooking time.
    Mix until smooth and spread over oatmeal mixture.
    Store in refrigerator.
    (The squares will seem hard to cut, but will soften at room temperature after a few minutes.)
