Caramel Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. white vinegar
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained, unsweetened)
    6 to 8 Granny Smith apples (unpeeled), chopped
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. dry roasted unsalted peanuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour, cornstarch, vinegar and pineapple in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Watch carefully.
    This will burn quickly.
    Cool completely!
    Once cooled, add all remaining ingredients.
