Beefeater Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. croutons (save out 1 c.)
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 eggs
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 chopped onion
    1 c. Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 c. barbecue sauce or catsup
    6 or 8 thick slices tomatoes
    1/2 c. cheese (for top)
Preparation
    Add warm water to croutons; mix and press into buttered 10-inch pie plate.
    Scramble hamburg and onion; drain off fat. Add cheese, eggs, catsup or barbecue sauce and cup of croutons. Press onto crouton crust.
    Top with sliced tomatoes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Top with cheese; bake 2 minutes longer.
