1/4 c. uncooked rice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

I add 1 can evaporated milk to the quart of milk.
