Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. lemon peel
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Combine milk, cornstarch, salt and sugar. Cook stirring over medium heat until mixture come to a full boil and thickens. Simmer, stirring for one minute. Break egg yolks into small bowl. Gradually stir in some hot mixture and then put all into saucepan. Cook and stir 1 minute longer. Remove from heat. Blend in lemon peel and juice. Chill until cold to the touch. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into 4 stem dessert dishes. Freeze until firm. Grate on additional peel for garnish.
