Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can corn, drained
    1 (No. 2) can green peas, drained
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 small jar pimento, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped fine
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 carrot, thinly sliced
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. water
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Stir together sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil; add all other ingredients, stirring well.
    Marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator in a 1/2 gallon container.
    Keeps well for a week or more.
    Makes 20 servings.
