Butterscotch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (not margarine)
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir into brown sugar until blended.
    Cool.
    Add eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter, sugar and egg mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cut while warm.
