Chocolate Fudge Divine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 sq. or 3 oz. chocolate or cocoa
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook slowly, stirring, until sugar dissolves.
    Cook to soft-ball stage.
    Test by dropping
    a few drops in cold water. Remove from heat.
    Add butter.
    Cool to lukewarm without stirring. Add flavoring; beat until thick.
    Pour in greased dish.
