Cheesy Bean Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
    1 small tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped
    3 scallions, finely chopped
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    corn tortilla chips (as accompaniment)
Preparation
    In blender, puree beans and tomato until smooth. Transfer to a medium saucepan or chafing dish. Add scallions, cheese and chili powder. Cook over low heat, stirring, until cheese is melted and dip is heated through, 6 to 8 minutes.
    Serve hot with crisp tortilla chips for dipping.
