Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. dry white sugar
1 c. hot water
4 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
1 whole egg
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a large skillet, let melt and brown the 1 1/2 cups white sugar.
Add hot water; simmer until dissolved.
Add custard mixture of:
egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, whole egg, milk and vanilla. Cook until thick.
Pour into baked crust; top with meringue and brown in oven.
