Hawaiian Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
    2 c. cubed cooked pork
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 (13 oz.) can pineapple tidbits (reserve syrup)
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
    1 can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
    1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Beat egg thoroughly in medium bowl. Add water, flour and salt; beat until smooth. Stir in meat, mixing until coated. Melt shortening in medium skillet. Add meat mixture; cook and stir until meat is brown. Remove from heat; keep warm.
