Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 small onion
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. bacon drippings

Preparation

Combine ingredients in order listed.
Form into flat ovals and fry in hot fat.
